WHO: You!
WHAT: A Warhammer 40k escalation league from 500 to 2,000 points
WHEN: Starting April 4th and lasting until June 20
WHERE: Paper Heroes
WHY: To get Lake Area support built back up for the greatest game in miniatures history!
HOW: We will start with armies drafted using the 5th edition rules in the 500 point range that are 3-color and tournament legal. Every 3 weeks the points increase by 500 until we get 2,000 points. We expect each army involved to field for one battle per point bracket. 2 points for a victory, 1 for a draw. During the 2000 point match on June 20th, votes will be collected for best painted army.
HOW MUCH: FREE!!!
HOW OFTEN: At each "teir" players will be expected to fight at least one battle using the above standard of a legal 3-color army (one battle per 3 weeks isn't bad.) Saturday will be our "established" League day but any fights during the week would just have to be reported in the League binder and will be collected for calculation on Saturdays. We also plan to have a mid-week Painting/modelling day on Wednesdays at Paper Heroes from 3pm-8pm.
