New Warhammer Campaign -- Book of Legends!

Here is the text of the new flyer announcement that will be posted at Paper Heroes. I'll have the announcement and signup sheet at Paper Heroes today, so be sure to sign up if interested.

The Adeptus Sowela and Paper Heroes present:

Warhammer -- Book of Legends
a Mighty Empires campaign.

When: Feb 13th - June 19th
Where: Paper Heroes
Why: It's fun! Ok...there will be PRIZES at every session! But it's fun too!
Army size: 500 pts +
Cost: FREE!! But you must SIGN UP by February 6!

How does it work?

There will be two games per session. You'll earn battle points for every game (1pt per loss, 2 per draw, 3 per victory) which you will then use to buy more territory, build fortresses, and gather resources.

You'll start with a 500pt army, every turn your resources (such as mines and farms) will give you gold which will allow you to buy more troops for your army.

You're guaranteed 1 battle point per game, whether you win or lose, or whether you show up or not (so even if you have to miss a game you won't necessarily fall behind). Additional battle points may be earned by completing scenario objectives.

It runs through all those months, (from February to June) usually every other weekend. Check the Adeptus Sowela calendar in the "Announcements" thread for the exact dates.

If anyone's interest, Jeremy and I will be bringing our 500 pt lists to the store for some small battling. We want to see what will and won't work in the upcoming Book of Legends. We'd love to pit our lists against others so whoever wants to show up. The dawn of battle begins at noon!

I'll be sending out the rules to everyone as the campaign gets closer, but I want to point out now that the minimum is 500 points. That means you only need 500 points worth of army to participate. The actual points though will be determined by the players before they battle.

So say during a game session Jacob challenges Jeremy, Jacob and Jeremy will then decide on how many points their game will be. If Jeremy only has a 500 point army of course, then the game will be 500 points. But if both have 2000 point armies and they want to battle, then that's fine too.

You won't be limited to only a 500 point army, unless that's all your opponent has.
