Plastic jack kits are in. Got mine yesterday. Gotta say I really like it. Little more places on the pieces that need work to smooth out from the mold cut than the metal ones, but they fit together more snugly, though you can't really pose the legs without extra work. They had a square end with a L cut out on one side so it would only fit in a matching hole that way. So if you want to get creative on the base and pose its a bit more to do.
But they went together very well, and the glue I used bonds SOOO much quicker with the plastics, I put this thing together in under 15 minutes. Normal average heavy use to take me 20-40 just due to glue drying at times.
Also the base I received with the jack was a bit different. It was textured surface instead of smooth.
