Many of you went to Beaumont with us last Saturday. What most of your don't know is how to tell Bryce what your character is doing in the two weeks between sessions. This is where a Downtime Report comes into play.
Everybody gets one downtime action per dot of Resolve, and you can ask each Ally you have a favor, though using too many favors too often can temporarily or even permanently reduce your influence with them. The chance to see if an Ally succeeds or not is Manipulation+Persuasion+Ally rating.
To show everybody what a DT Report will normally look like, I'm showing ya'll the one I sent Bryce this week. Feel free to clear my answers out and turn it into a template if you want. Generally on a DT Report Bryce will do whatever tests are required and reply back before the next session with how everything worked out over the next week to two weeks. Also, try to limit yourself to 1 DT report per 2 weeks for realism and your own sanity.
**********
1) I'm gonna play the markets for a bit with $25,000 and try to short trade and flip myself some large fortunes quickly over the next few weeks, a few hours each evening (this is the start of justifying my purchase of Luxury.) Intelligence 3+Academics 3+Finance Speciality=7 pool
2) If its cool with Jason, I think I want to start with some basic unarmed combat training a few hours each evening if he's free. I'd be willing to pay, but just as willing to help in whatever issues he would have need of me (ie I'm open for boons [what Kindred call Special Favors].) Boxing, MMA/Grappling, that thing (going for my first dot of Brawl eventually.) Strength 2+Brawl 0-1 for untrained=1 pool
3) I'm going to set aside some time each evening with Madam Pandora Rostov in an exchange; I teach her Dominate 1, she teaches me Majesty 1.
Allies (City Hall) - I want to obtain a small warehouse exactly like the one at the Ryan st offramp of I-10 in terms of size and same sort of location (North of downtown by the city bus terminal, but only a short distance from a decent-sized Rack) with my free money and push through the permits changing the zoning from industrial to commercial as fast as possible, ideally so fast it can't get contested.
Allies (Finance) - Any profits I make off of #1 I want to funnel to my investors and ask them to see about running it through some known well-performing cash generators (stocks, bonds, the like) to ramp the money up. They can keep 25% rather than the customary 15%.
