So, apparently starting the game in shield wall does absolutely nothing for the first turn player, as the effects expires at the first players turn start. And the second turn player is only a little benefit as it gets the ARM if something would be able to shoot them first turn, then it expires as well on their turn. So starting in shield-wall and running first turn while still getting the ARM bonus is wrong. Linky Linky

Poop. Obvious mistake on our part. Good to know, though. Atleast our Shield Wall unit has speed 6.
