I hate to be the heavy here, but this needs to be said guys...
It's becoming a common occurrence now for the gaming tables to be left in shambles and for our terrain to be broken.
The past few times i've gone in the morning to set up for an event there have been tokens, templates, scenarios, faction cards and even whole miniatures left on the tables, along with soda cans, snack wrappers and various other detritus.
That along with the fact that every time I go to the store there's a new terrain casualty. This past week I was very disappointed to see the really cool ruined tower that Darren made lying in pieces. All of the wooded terrain I put together for the club is now broken.
Other clubs lock away their terrain when they're not hosting an event, but I would rather not go that route.
When a game is concluded, please pick up after yourself, and if you see someone else leaving their junk on the table call them out over it.
We now have shelf space for larger pieces, so when not in use put them away somewhere they won't get broken. If you can't find room for the piece, ask Kevin where to put it and he'll make some room.
And always, always clean up after your game.

I second his concern over these issues. too many times have i noticed the same and seen nothing done to prevent or rectify the situation. I for one will be backing any decision made to fix this growing problem.

I went through the bins and threw away a ton of broken terrain sometime last week. Hopefully that'll make room in the bins so that it's possible to place terrain instead of dropping it on top of other scenery.
Some of the stuff that got broken was broken because it was too fragile, or because I made mistakes in its construction; the Necron ground-spikes are a good example of something that's lasted WAY longer than it should have. The Spawn statue that popped off its base wasn't that secure in the first place.
But other stuff shouldn't get broken. You don't pay for this stuff; at least treat it with some respect, you know?
