Okay folks we need to get everybody who runs stuff for the store together to pencil out the back half of the year (July-December.) We can either have a sit-down meeting or can hash it all out here.

A reminder of our suggested frequencies from the last meeting:
* Warhammer/40K/Warmachine - 1/month
* L5R - 1/quarter

Leagues will run different, I know, but it are what it are.

I can sit down anytime after the date of Con du Lac pending wedding stuff and random engagements. Any day other than Friday is typically good for me nowadays, but even then, I can probably make it early that evening.

Since you and Jacob are the Pressgangers...and since Warmachine is the most popular game running right now, I think you should go ahead and fill in the dates you'd like for the Warmachine events.

I've been getting requests for more WFB events, so I think a once a month Fantasy event will be in order. I'm also wanting to see what kind of interest there is in the Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game, so i'll probably run a LOTR event, and if it takes off schedule events for that. Having the store open on Sundays gives us more room for these other games.

Go ahead and put down a schedule you would like for Warmachine/Hordes events, and lets see where we can go from there.

Okay to clarify my position:

Jacob is for all intents and purposes THE Press-Ganger, as a key component to ANY demo team membership regardless of company is not "working for" the store in question. In doing what I do for Kevin, I feel my "job" in the store crosses the line the spirit of the stipulation is meant to address. Others may disagree, but at the end of the day I have to be right with my own mind first and foremost.

Warmachine is the most popular because its the most "portable." Its also got the biggest base who shows up with their armies. 40k is petering out because the die-hard 40K players hardly show in pairs early enough to secure table space, and when they do show up they wait for several hours before another shows up, and by then its hardly worth a game.

Jacob, we'll need to have the Genesis and Shattered Grounds League dates put on here minimum, and as we go in the dates for Summer Rampage and any other "off-games."

What is D & D Encounters? While I am in Iraq, my wife would be interested in finding a game to play and a group of people to hang out with.

D&D Encounters is a weekly Sanctioned campaign that runs in 2-hour increments, essentially a single battle scene and some downtimes before and after. Pretty spiffy.

I've updated the schedule with events all the way through December. We don't have any 40k scheduled, so someone should try to work something up. Maybe another escalation league? I'll set it up if no one else is available.

Requests for dates for the July-September section of the Calendar are closed. It has been moved to the Calendar thread. If you don't see support for your event up there, its both you and the guy responsable for promoting its fault. Be more attentive next go-round.
