Tips for Role playing a female Character
Pretty much this.
Just don't be a "I got boobies!" idiot.
More importantly don't act like a whore--it'll be awkward for everyone.
Don't be too feminine when your character's background doesn't support this.
If you're being flirted by an NPC, you toss your player's handbook at the DM.
If you're being flirted by a PC, throw the player's handbook at the PC.
If being flirted doesn't bother you, don't act like an idiot and take it! Flirt the fuck back at him (to creep him out IRL) if your character likes his, or plainly dismiss him as a man! Just don't instantly knee him in the crouch either. It'll all go downhill from there.
Always, always fade into black for those intimate moments. And if your fucking DM finds it funny to hear some details out of both of you, throw your player's handbook at him.
Avoid the fade into black. Motherhood isn't worth it unless your character's adventuring career is over.
And for God's sake keep menstruation completely out of the game you sick FUCK!
When you listen to people, actually hear what they are saying, as opposed to using the time to get your breath for when you start talking again. On the average, women are more empathic and better at verbal communication.
Consider the long term. Women have a genetic impetus to think about long term rather than short. Food, shelter, family planning, women usually consider the long term aspects more so than men.
Sexuality is second string. Men almost always judge a person sexually on sight, be they male or female (potential mate verses potential mate-stealer). Women usually don't.
Again, all generalizations, plenty of exceptions, but it's a great place to start. As it is, playing a non-hyper sexual who considers the long term and actually listens when other people talk should be alien enough to your fellow players to make the character seem from Venus. So you're all good.
