the first round at 850 pts. new rule with 25% heroes/lords
tomb kings has to take a general (prince/king) and a hierophant (priest/high preist).
heroes tomb prince 100 and a liche priest 115 are combined 3 more pionts than u can have at 850 which is 212
does that mean i have to take a tomb king at 170 which makes lords 20% and heroes 14%.
just a question to think about.

I hadn't considered how the percentages would work. I might just bump up the first round to an even 1000 points. Considering we'll be running it from September through November, what would you suggest as the point spread?

850 is a good number with the 500pt increase a month.
hopefully paul can get enough pieces to play higher points by than. the new %rule helps ogre kingdom avoid playing non MI or MB units
and i think i am the only one making a new army for it

please join cause im not useing the broken leggions of daemons i have new stragities to learn
o wait shoot in 2 ranks isn't a stragity and i been poking around the rule book all bow weapons (short norm. and long) have the volley rule. ( half the models in 3rd rank and beyond can fire useing front rank L.O.S. and arc if they didnt move ) funney a squad of 40 tombking ranked like horde can fire 30 shots

I finally get a good working list and now I have to start over again with my Dark Elves. No more small fast units that hit hard on the charge and take out an enemy unit's front rank so it can't return. I'm going to have to consolidate into bigger units now. On the plus side my Vampire force should benefit from the Horde and new Magic rules. Oh and the Vampire Counts Black Coach just became uber-deadly.
